The Movies that Matter Festival presents around seventy human rights feature films and documentaries from all over the world. Many films will be screened for the first and only time in the Netherlands. Almost all films are English spoken or subtitled. Click here for the 2013 film programme.

Most film screenings are followed by an in-depth programme, which can be an introduction, debate or talk show, in the presence of international guests, including human rights defenders, film makers, politicians and journalists.

Besides the two main sections, A Matter of ACT and Camera Justitia, the festival features several other programme components.
