'My Mother's Daughter' gives a unique insight into the modified relation between a mother and her daughter. Yvonne Ridley is an ambitious British journalist working for The Sunday Express. Her mother Joyce – a devote Christian – has difficulty accepting her daughter’s new religion. Meanwhile, Yvonne is struggling to find her place in western society.
