In a society overtaken by fear, the Russian NGO Committee for the Prevention of Torture pledges to continue its work in Chechnya ‘whatever happens’. Manon Louizeau is a French journalist and documentary maker. Loizeau has lived in Russia for many years and she has covered Chechnya since 1995.

Kirsten van den Hul is Sovietologist, Arabist, change catalyst, columnist, author. Dutch UN Women’s Representative 2011, inspirational speaker and visiting lecturer.
