How can you live in a country where parties are forbidden and you constantly have to fear the ‘morality police’? In the film Raving Iran we follow a group of young Iranians who are sick of this restrictive government and the limitations on their daily life. Nonetheless, they find ways to make music and organize illegal parties and festivals. With political scientist Peyman Jafari (author of the book The other Iran) we speak about this clash between modern life and conservative values in Iran.
