Two-in-one: film and concert. Following the screening of the much-praised documentary The Oath, telling the story of Osama Bin Laden's former bodyguard, prominent British jazz pianist and composer Gwilym Simcock, backed by his quartet and the Dario Fo choir, performs I Prefer the Gorgeous Freedom. The piece is based on lyrics composed by a former Guantánamo Bay detainee.
The festival presents this programme in corporation with Prospero.
