After the screening of the film Doutje Lettinga will moderate a Q&A with terrorism expert Bibi van Ginkel and director Patricio Henriquez.
Bibi van Ginkel is a Senior Research Fellow at the Clingendael Institute. She focuses on legal aspects of combating terrorism in both a national and an international context. Bibi also lectures on International Law at the MA International Relations and Diplomacy (Leiden University and Clingendael). In addition to her work at Clingendael, Bibi is a fellow at the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism (ICCT) in The Hague.
The award-winning Quebec based filmmaker Patricio Henriquez grew up and was trained in film-making in Chile. After Augusto Pinochet overthrew the democratically elected government of Salvador Allende he left the country. His documentary The Last Stand of Salvador Allende (1998) won the best history award at the 1999 Hot Docs Film Festival. The documentary You Don't Like the Truth: Four Days Inside Guantanamo, which he co-directed with frequent collaborator Luc Côté won the best documentary about society award at the first Gémeaux Awards in 2011.
The Q&A will be moderated by Strategic Studies analyst Doutje Lettinga. Dr. Lettinga holds a PhD in Sociology and Master degrees in History and International Relations. She currently works as Analyst of Strategic Studies, an initiative of Amnesty International Netherlands.
