Fiction, animation and documentary films will be presented at the 1st edition of the Karama Beirut, a human rights film festival in the capital of Lebanon.
The idea of the festival emerged from a collective initiative taken by human rights activists and committed artists, to respond to the need for a platform for human rights dialogue in the country. The theme of this first edition is “The Others”, aiming to contribute to the respect of the rights of the refugees and the minorities in Lebanon and the Arab World. The 3-day film festival, which will take place from 21 to 23 July 2016, will screen at least 20 local, regional and international films. Read more
