Succes for Human Rights in Iraq due to film pressure

A vital agreement signed yesterday in Baghdad by the Iraqi Ministry of Human Rights and the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) will pave the way for the DNA-lead identification of Iraq’s missing people. The IMC was launched alongside Mohamed Al-Daradji’s award-winning Iraqi film, Son of Babylon, last year also at Movies that Matter Festival. This year’s Movies that Matter edition screens Al-Daradji’s new film In my mother’s arms.
