Free-of-charge filmscreenings in Brussels

May 03, 2012

In May, Movies that Matter and the One World Film Festival will present two free-of-charge film screenings in Brussels. The documentaries Justice for Sale and Our School will be presented to the general public and policy makers. Both films were also screened during the Movies that Matter Festival in March 2012.

After the Justice for Sale screening at the European Parliament, that starts on Tuesday May 15th at 6:30 pm, the audience is invited to pose their questions to filmmakers Ilse en Femke van Velzen and representatives of related organisations, like Cordaid.

The screening of Our School starts on Friday May 18th at 7 pm at the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU. Afterwards Roma communities, Amnesty International and the Open Society Institute will be available to have a discussion with the audience.

Everyone is most welcome to attend these free-of-charge film screenings and participate in the debate afterwards. Visitors are requested to register as soon as possible (at least one week in advance). To register for Justice for Sale, please go here. To register for Our School, please go here.
