Movies that Matter selects 14 new projects for financial support
Movies that Matter is pleased to announce that 14 film festivals and film distribution projects from all over the world are selected for financial support. These projects range from a human rights film caravan in Niger, to Youth Film Festivals in Bangladesh and India and 'Truth Cinema' in the Philippines.
Further, support goes to Opin Yu Yi in Sierra Leone, the newest documentary festival in Georgia, slum screenings in Kenya, women festivals in Zimbabwe and Cameroon and the outreach campaign for the truly astonishing documentary The Act of Killing in Indonesia.
Movies that Matter is glad to renew its support to Fundepaz in Colombia, the Side by Side Festival in Russia, Muestra de Cine Internacional Memoria, Verdad, Justicia in Guatemala, and Ciné Droit Libre in Ivory Coast. Do visit these inspiring activities if you happen to be in the area!
