Human rights defender Somaly Mam from Cambodia, guest of honour of the programme A Matter of ACT, opens the Movies that Matter Festival Thursday the 25th of March. Mam, when she was twelve years old sold to a brothel, defends the interests of children working in the sex industry and ranked by Time Magazine among the hundred most influential people in the world in 2009. The opening film of the festival No One Knows About Persian Cats will be followed by an interview with director Bahman Ghobadi.
