From 14-16 November the Seret Film Festival takes place in Cinema Amstelveen. Three days of Israeli film premières with English subtitles.
The festival kicks off with Hill Start, charming tragi-comedy starring Israeli comedic-genius Shlomo Bar-Aba. The film shows the story of the bourgeois Geva family from Jerusalem. Following a car accident, the mother falls into a coma, leaving behind her a broken family - two adult kids, a husband and a daughter in-law to be - all willing to do anything for her to wake up. The Green Prince, Zero Motivation and Apples from the Desert will also be screened. Read more.
