From 18-26 March 2016 the annual Movies that Matter Festival will take place in The Hague. It is the international film and debate festival about peace and justice in the International City of Peace and Justice. At Filmhuis Den Haag and Theater aan het Spui around seventy films will be screened, in combination with daily talk shows, music performances and expositions. Besides various theme-based & ‘the best of’ programmes, the festival presents two main programmes: Amnesty International's A Matter of ACT, a tribute to human rights advocates and Camera Justitia - made possible by vfonds - features films dealing with law and justice. The festival is a meeting place for the public and inspirational guests, including politicians, filmmakers and journalists.
