Programmeur van het Stalker Human rights Film Festival in Moskou, Victoria Belopolsky leidt de Q&A met regisseurs Ksenia Sakharnova en Kirill Sakharnov. 

 

Ksenia Sakharnova is producer, director and screenwriter. From 2001 Ksenia works as a film journalist for a number of magazines and Internet websites.

Ksenia was a producer, screenwriter and co-director of documentaries “Moscow-Liverpool” (2009), “Stalin. Why not?” (2010) and “5 minutes of freedom” (2012) made together with her husband Kirill Sakharnov.

 

Kirill Sakharnov is director, cinematographer and editor. He was born in 1978 in Moscow. As a film director Kirill made a number of short documentaries, commercials and music videos. In 2010 Kirill founded SUGARDOCS film production. The company specializes in films on human rights issues acclaimed both by wide audiences and international festivals.

His filmography includes: “Olya & Galiya. Wife & wife” (2013, Russia, doc., work-in-progress), “Lighthouse lady” (2013, Russia, doc., work-in-progress), “5 minutes of freedom” (2012, Russia, doc., 86’), “Stalin? Why not” (2010, Russia, doc, 14’), "Moscow : Liverpool" (2009, Russia, doc., 30’).


Victoria Belopolskaya studeerde journalistiek aan de Universiteit van Moskou en begin haar carrière als filmcriticus. Momenteel is ze onder meer werkzaam als programmeur voor het International Documentary Film Festival Flahertiana in Sint Petersburg en het International Human Rights Film Festival, Stalker in Moskou. Ook werkt Belopolskaya als film scout voor het IDFA.
