  • 'Dreaming Nicaragua' in Movies that Matter landelijk film en debatprogramma
'Dreaming Nicaragua' in Goes, Maastricht and Groningen

As part of the national film and debate programme, Movies that Matter screens the documentary Dreaming Nicaragua Monday 17 May in Goes and Maastricht at 19.30hrs and in Groningen at 21.00hrs. Filmmaker Marcelo Bukin has made a touching and beautifully filmed portrait of these children, who grow up in poor, rural Nicaragua. By attending a drawing class, they are able to temporarily escape their harsh living conditions. They share their experiences with the spectators. Dreaming Nicaragua is part of the Latin American Film Festival, 6 till 14 May in Utrecht.
