The Movies that Matter Festival is pleased to invite you to the Camera Justitia Night, a special night about law and justice on Thursday 26 March.

After an introduction by international law expert Heikelina Verrijn Stuart and the presentation of the Camera Justitia Award to the director of this year's winning film about law and justice, we will screen the documentary Watchers of the Sky

Watchers of the Sky

The beautifully stylized documentary by director Edet Belzberg uses animated images, archive footage and interviews to shed light on the historical quest for international justice. Telling the life story of Raphael Lemkin, the film shows the vision and perseverance of remarkable protagonists in their struggle against genocide and crimes against humanity.

Movies that Matter is pleased to offer you 2 free entrance tickets for the Camera Justitia Night on Thursday 26 March at the Theater aan het Spui. The evening starts at 7.30 pm. Sign up for this event by sending an email before 7 March to with your name, post address and number of tickets (max. 2).

Movies that Matter Festival

The Movies that Matter Festival is the annual film and debate festival featuring the best of recent filmmaking on human rights and social justice. The festival takes place from 20 to 28 March in Filmhuis Den Haag and Theater aan het Spui, The Hague. Ticket sale starts on March 5th. For more information, see our website.

Camera Justitia

With documentaries, a master class, a talkshow and debates on the rule of law and the fight against impunity, Camera Justitia sheds light on the many angles of law and justice.
