Will Janssen from Hivos discusses the situation of LGBTI's in Kenia and the growing oppression towards them with directors Jim Chuchu and Wangechi Ngugi; the Dutch human rights ambassador from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kees van Baar and freelance journalist and photographer in East Africa Arne Doornebal. How will LGBTI's in Kenia move on?

Jim Chuchu lives and works in Nairobi, Kenya. Jim is a visual artist, filmmaker and musician from Nairobi, Kenya. He is also co-founder and Creative Director at the NEST - a multidisciplinary art space in Nairobi, and a member of the NEST Collective.

Njoki Ngumi is campaign leader by the Kenian art collective The NEST.

Arne Doornebal was an Africa correspondent between 2007 and 2013, he is now based in Amsterdam and works for BNR News Radio, while still following developments in Africa.

Kees van Baar was appointed the Dutch Human Rights ambassador in 2014. He previously spent time as the Dutch Ambassador in South Sudan, being part of the team that set up the embassy in the then newly-established country.
