How do I receive my tickets if I order online?
If you order your tickets online, you will receive an e-ticket in your e-mail inbox. Please note that it is mandatory to print your e-tickets. We are not able to scan barcodes at the ticket checks. If you have used a discount card for your order, it is also mandatory to show the discount card upon request.

Can I scan my e-ticket from my smartphone at ticket checks?
No, unfortunately that is not possible. Tickets must be printed.

I have not received an e-ticket in my mailbox, what went wrong?
There may be a delay of a few minutes, so they may not appear immediately in your mailbox. Please check your junk mail, the tickets may also end up there.

ATTENTION: if you have bought a multi ticket, you will not receive it via e-mail. The multi ticket is automatically linked to your account after payment. You can then choose the films that you want to go to and at checkout choose the option 'ticket strip' worth 0.00 Euro. You will then receive these tickets in PDF by mail. These must be printed and taken to ticket check, just like a normal e-ticket.

Where can I buy a multi ticket?
Multi tickets can be purchased here online or at the box office.

How many multitickets can I buy?
You can buy a maximum of three multitickets per person online, offline you can buy more. After you buy your multi ticket, you will receive free tickets in your account for which you can select the films of your choice. Per multiticket you can buy a maximum of two tickets per screening. This applies both online and at the cash register.

I would like to buy tickets for a screening, but do not see a button to order them. Why?
If there is no order button at the screening, it means that it is closed to the public. Unfortunately you can not buy tickets for it.

I'm trying to buy tickets, but I can't fill in any amounts. Why?
Before you can enter the amounts for each ticket type, you must first click on the 'order' button. Boxes will then appear where you can enter the desired numbers.

How can I use a discount code?
To enter a discount code with your order, you must first press the 'order' button. Then the question whether you want to use a code appears above the available ticket types.

I also see the option to donate to Movies that Matter. Is a ticket attached to this?
No, this donation is not tied to a ticket. This option can be used if you want to donate money to our foundation while buying a ticket.

How can I buy tickets using my Cineville card?
Cineville tickets can only be reserved on our website. Purchasing Cineville tickets is only possible in Filmhuis Den Haag.

The Cineville card is valid for all regular screenings under the following conditions:

  • Since the card is personal and bound to one individual, only one ticket per person per performance can be reserved.
  • You can pick up your reserved tickets at the cash register of Filmhuis Den Haag no more than 4 hours and no less than 30 minutes before the start of the program.

General Cineville rules apply to all screenings you wish to use the card for. This means that i.a. it is mandatory to show your card upon request at ticket checks and it is not allowed to get tickets for others. More information about Cineville rules can be found here.
