Director Sean Baker proofed that cinema rules can be broken, and glued together in a hilarious and compelling way with Tangerine, filmed on an iPhone 5S. Trans woman Sin-Dee Rella goes on a warpath through the streets of LA, looking for the pimp who broke her heart. Energetic film packed with colourful characters and animated dialogues.

Only just released from prison, Sin-Dee finds out her pimp boyfriend cheated on her. The fact that pimps tend to cheat, means little to Sin-Dee. On Christmas Eve, she sets out to find her ex-boyfriend and his new lover. With the help from her not so enthusiastic friend Alexandra, she spares no one in her search.

Tangerine is the Chosen by pick by stylist and creative director Jean Paul Paula.
