Q&A with legal philosopher Nanda Oudejans.

Nanda Oudejans is legal philosopher and works as an Assistant professor at Tilburg Law School. Her PhD Asylum. A Philosophical Inquiry into the International Protection of Refugees was awarded with the Max van der Stoel Human Rights Award 2012. The Netherlands Association for Philosophy of Law awarded her thesis the Prize for the Best Dissertation in Legal Philosophy 2011-2012. Between 2011 and 2012 In 2013 she worked as an advisor at the Dutch Advisory Committee on Migration Affairs where she contributed to the advisory report on treaty protection for stateless persons in the Netherlands (No Country of One's Own).

Armenco Melkonian (1990) is a young Syrian who came to The Netherlands one and a half years ago from Aleppo. He is currently studying for his exam to get into college.
