Journalist Edwin Koopman speaks about the political situation in Venezuela, the current crisis and the position of women in society.

Edwin Koopman graduated from the Catholic University Nijmegen with a degree in Social Geography. He has focused on Latin-America since 1985 and reports on the continent on behalf of among others Elsevier, Trouw and VPRO. His book ‘The Oil King’, about the revolution in Venezuela was published in 2011.

The Q&A will be moderated by researcher and journalist Pamela Kalkman. Kalkman holds a Master in Conflict Studies and Humans Rights from Utrecht University and is writes about culture and politics in Latin-America.
