From July 11 the French animation film Funan will be shown in the cinema.

The history of the Khmer Rouge regime is brought to life by director Denis Do, the film is inspired by the life of his own mother. At the time of the Khmer Rouge revolution, a Cambodian mother fights for her life and that of her son. Children are separated from their parents. Father and mother and the rest of the family end up in a camp together. They try to flee the horrors of the camp to start the search for their child. Funan won the prize for best animation film during the Annecy International Animated Film Festival and received two Emile Awards.
