Festival Favorites

Festival Favorites is a programme for the adventurous film lover: films with a broad, thematic variety. From science fiction to essayist documentary, from political pamphlet to coming-of-age drama. Films from all corners of the world that have proven their quality at international festivals.

One of the films in this selection is Foxtrot. The film tells the tale of Michael and Dafna, who are devastated when army officials show up at their home to announce the death of their son Jonathan. However, the facts prove to be a bit more complex. A nuanced film about the absurdity of Israeli military culture by the maker of Lebanon.
